Has anyone mounted a soundbar behind the tv? null

No, you would block a lot of the sound. It would sound like it was coming from a closed closet. That is why even built in speakers have grills.

I wouldn’t suggest that as you will take from the speaker output quality, speakers should never be blocked with any abstructions in front or audio quality will be compromised,
