I have an LG OLED TV, will I still be able to change input and control volume with the magic remote or will I need to use the Sony's remote for those functions? null

You should be able to program the remote to the receiver. Not all the functions will work but you can use the volume controls, play, pause, stop, etc...I have with my dish remote....
