- Answer I think this remote is compatible to your Sony xbr-65x850c. All my Sony devices CD player, blu ray DVD player, TV all connected automatically to this remote control without even entering their codes. I only have to enter the code for my cable box which is not a Sony of course. The codes for different brands come with the package.
