yes. it is EXACTLY the same. my 940d went defective and sony replaced it with a 940e. it worked on the same mount, just had to move the bracket over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The VESA® HOLE PITCH(W X H) is 15 3/4 x 11 7/8 inch / 400 x 300 mm for both the 940e and 930d but their is a weight difference. The 940e is 94.3 lb (42.8 kg) and the 930d is 85.3 lb / 38.7 kg so you may need to check the weight specs on your existing mount.

Additionally, the recommended wall mounts for the two TVs are not the same, the SU-WL830 mount for the 940E and the SU-WL810 mount for the 940D.
