Sometimes there is a switch In the speaker settings for the TV to use auxiliary and TV speakers and you will need to select both. May not say headphones but aux speaker. Hope it helps

Doing this will cancel the TV speakers from being used. However, if your TV supports the "Headphone speaker link" option then you should be able to get sound from your TV speakers and headphones at once. Regards, Jess
