“We just had this tv installed with a sound bar and the sound bar is blocking the remote sensor so we need an IR repeater. The one the installer told us to get does not work. Which one could we purchase to be able to use the remote from a distance?”

Hi MJ, Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately we can't recommend a third party product due to compatibility issues. Though an IR Receiver with a 3.5mm plug should work. You could also make sure that the Sony TV remote is paired with Bluetooth so that it does not use IR.
