Have you tried turning the TV on with out the Apple TV (disconnected) to see if the green screen still appear? Can you try connecting the Apple TV directly to the TV and check if the green screen still appear? In the mean time, make sure that your TV has the latest firmware version. Make sure as well that you are using Premium High Speed HDMI cables and that they are secured.
