I would say mine is glossy. You can go to where you can set your picture to a lower light level in the menu. Good luck.

However, the X800H has increased brightness output to make HDR and Dolby Vision more brilliant, but will simultaneously help combat ambient light in the room when watching the TV. We suggest not to expose the screen to direct illumination or sunlight and avoid installing the TV in a room with reflective wall and floor materials. We also recommend the X91J that has X-wide angle and X-Anti reflection. Every seat in the room is now the best seat in the room with enhanced viewing angles that preserves color when watching from the side and an anti-reflective screen that reduce glare in bright rooms.
