“Will I get any acoustic sync benefit from purchasing sound bar HT-A5000 with this? Curious if it would make a difference having both Sony brands or not. Otherwise, I can compare sound bars and see what brand works best.”

I have a Samsung sound bar hooked to it and there is no lag or loss of quality. Most of the newer soundbars will let you adjust the sync in its menu if you notice a delay between what you see and what you hear.

If you prefer a BRAVIA that has Acoustic Center Sync, we suggest checking out other BRAVIA models such as the 2022 X90K, X95K, Z9K, A90K, A80K, A95K and 2023 X90L, X93L, X95L, A80L, A75L, and A95L. Acoustic Center Sync or S-Center speaker allows you to connect HT-A5000 to any of these TVs for enhanced audio playback using the TV as a center channel speaker in a multi-channel setup.
