Yes and no. Sony uses what is known as IBIS- in body image stabilization. It has a 5 axis stabilization system built into the camera. Instead of vr on a lens it is in camera

Yes, Sony calls there vibration reduction "In Body Image Stabilization" or "IBIS". The A7III shares the stabilization system with the A7RIII.

Note that a lot of Sony lens also have stabilization. Thus 5 axis in body and 3 axis in lens I can hand hold and take pictures with my Sony 100 - 400 mm GM lens.
