“I have the A6000 and primarily would upgrade to the A6300 for the silent shutter (amateur concert photographer). Worth the $$$ for this alone?”

Silent shutter if fantastic and it is completely silent. However, I would NOT spend $1000 just for that feature though, especially in a noisy environment like a concert.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes worth it! I did it and no regrets. Not to mention hfr vids than u can slow down to 5x or thru comp down to 20x slower than real time. Iso is also cleaner so u can take better pics in the dark.

The noise levels at the higher ISOs are significantly lower with the A6300 than the A6000. The Sensor and its circuitry Has also been improved. All of this seems important for concert photography!

Some of these features are the numbers of Phase Detection pts., better image sensor, more enhanced EVF, improved iso sensitivity range (better low light performance), external mic input capability and 4k video recording.
