• Firmware fixed this, I have had NO issues with long run time 4K.

• There are several ways you can get around the over heating problem. Disengage the image stabilization, open up the lcd screen, use a fan. But you have to wonder that you paid 3k for a camera that overheats, when you could have purchased a panasonic GX8 and saved 2200 USD.
