Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is not a zoom lens. It has s fixed focal length of 35 mm. Prime lenses like this one outperform zoom lenses at a specific focal length. I have several zoom lenses, but they do not compare to the better G Master Sony lenses. The 35 is great for street photos. For portraits, would get at least an 85 mm lens. For the best value, would get a 24-105 f 4.0.. This assumes you have a full frame camera.
