It does have a USB port to charge your phone-not sure about the hands free option.

There is a USB charging port on the side, but I do not think it can be used as a speaker phone. Check with Sony about that

Yes. I charge my iPhone every night using this clock. I haven't used it for hands free talking, but don't see why it wouldn't work.

We cannot guarantee if the mobile device can be used while being charged.
