“My tv does not have a HDMI cable receptacle. I don't have cable, I have a digital box. I tried to hook the dvd player up using just regular coaxial video output cable and the player did not work.Will this player work without using hdmi cable?”

• Hi, No, this type of connection will not work. The digital coaxial output of the BluRay player is for audio only. Thanks! ^Ron

• You’d have to use the digital coaxial cable instead. There’s no other way option to connect.
