Is this region free for dvd's? null

According to the owners manual, the region codes are shown on the back panel of the unit. When I looked at mine, it showed a seal for region one for DVD. The seal for bluray shows an "A" which I'm not exactly sure if that means all or not. The example seal shown in the manual shows the entire word "all" spelled out. Hope that helps...
