Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go ask Sony as I bought in my country the USA. It’ is region free as I play my United Kingdom blu-rays with no issue. Also Sony claims all their newer blu-Ray players are region free. If it had not been region free I would not of been able to switch back to my blu-rays I bought in the USA. It would of gotten stuck in the UK region which it did not NOT do. I can go back and forth and play USA blu-Ray and DVDs and UK Blu-Rays and DVDs too. You can alway check with you model number with Sony as I did. I find most people don’t seem to know what they have even the sales people at electronic stores are unsure. Sony had told me before I purchased this model. BDP-S3700 it was region free which it is.Enjoy!
