“We just bought this and can not get it to connect with any of our Bluetooth devices. We can see it listed on our devices but the player will not discover any of our devices.”

Make sure you turn on the Bluetooth and select the, "allow devices to locate you" on the devices you want to connect to. I'm sure it is just a settings issue, we had that problem with my sons ipad, but I located it quickly with my cell.
