“Could I replace the Sony dvd player in my surround sound system with the BDPS6700? I have the Sony CA2588 DVP-C670D, and if so, what connection cables are necessary to set this up? If not, is there a sony Blu ray player to replace my dvd player component?”

• The two are connected differently. This one connects via HDMI. As long as the TV supports HDMI connections, it will replace the DVD player with minimal adjustments needed to be made.
