I have a Sony 4K 3D XBR75X850C TV. Literally, will this player take a 2D DVD and play it on my TV in 3D? null

The Sony Streaming 4K Upscaling Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player does not convert 2D content in to 3D content.

Ignoring the question of whether you display can handle 3D input, the fact is that the S6700 can, indeed, create simulated 3D from a 2D movie. I own a third-party-modified region-free S6700, and it includes 3D "conversion". See page 24 of your user manual.

Hi JamesLR, Sony XBR75X850C does not support simulated 3D. Playing 2D content cannot be viewed as 3D. «Jerome

My oled tv converts ANY content to "2d-to-3d". I dont think many sony Tvs do that feature. But understand that movies not filmed in 3D will not give the true 3d experience as a movie that was shot in 3D would.
