A:Answeri have the dish hopper with sling set top box and i can confirm its remote works with the tv to turn it on and off and volume up and down at least (and that's all i need it for, so i'm ok with it). i love the fact that since the tv has HDMI-CEC as soon as i press the SAT button, the tv turns itself on or if another input its being used then it changes it automatically.
