“will a dish tv remote work with this”

• i have the dish hopper with sling set top box and i can confirm its remote works with the tv to turn it on and off and volume up and down at least (and that's all i need it for, so i'm ok with it). i love the fact that since the tv has HDMI-CEC as soon as i press the SAT button, the tv turns itself on or if another input its being used then it changes it automatically.

• I haven't had any luck getting mine to work the TV yet. My remote is several years old so maybe not the best model for the newer technology.

• Hi there, You may contact the manufacturer of that remote control to check the compatibility. If it's compatible, they can also provide you the steps in pairing the remote with a Sony TV. - Jerome
