- Answer its the refresh rate. With some 60 HTZ TV's especially with a larger screen you can get some pixelization when watch fast moving pictures like football for example .However the way the Sony processes the picture and forgive meI do not understand the technicalities, you do not see this. They use something they call true motion technology and it smooths out the picture. Even on their more expensive sets they only have 120htz, On this set you will not notice it or at least I haven't. dont let the 60 htz rating bother you. This picture is excellent.

- Answer The 48" Sony Bravia was easy to use. Literally plug and go. My wife and I are not tech savvy at all either, and this TV was exactly what we needed. I'm happy with the quality of the picture. I though the price was great for the Sony name, the fact that it's a Smart TV, and for the size. Not sure if you can beat the price on a brand name Smart TV. Love it!

QuestionIs it possible to connect this TV to my own stereo speakers?Our salesman in Best buy said "yes, this is possible", and gave me the necessary cables( apparently also used for headphones) to connect my speakers to the TV. However when i did this, the TV shut off the external sound, because it assumes you want the room quiet when listening through headphones. Is there anyway around this? I listen to classical music on a Sirius TV channel,and would love to be able to have the sound come through my stereo speakers.

- Answer Hello Carol! If you connect your stereo speakers to this model it will be necessary to choose to send the sound out to your television speakers or external speakers through the audio out / headphone port of this unit. Once the connection is done change the following settings : Press the HOME button, then select [Settings]? [Sound]? [Speakers] ? [TV Speakers] or [Audio System], go back to [Sound] select [Headphone/Audio Out] ? [Audio Out] and then choose [Fixed] to be able to control the volume with your stereo system.~ Jeannette

- Answer This TV allows you to use the headphone jack for headphones or allows you to configure this jack for audio out if you want to tie it into a audio amp. You can change these settings through the audio set up menu.

- Answer You have to change it from your cable box if you want to turn down resolution. 1080i is currently the highest cable network feed. If you want 1080p then watch a blu ray. 1080i is plenty good enough for everyday cable network definition. Plenty Son Plenty

QuestionWiDi- I want to have my laptop screen mirrored on this TV. Does this work wirelessly?I need a TV for a conference room in my office. I have a PowerPoint presentation on my laptop that I'd like to show on the TV. I do not want wires running from the laptop to the TV. Can I do this wirelessly?

- Answer Yes, it does. The Sony television model number KDL48W600B has the P&P feature available, so you can watch two pictures (left and right) simultaneously. - Answer To output sound to an old receiver that can only take RCA (the red and white) connectors, you can connect an RCA-to-1/8" stereo plug to the headphone jack on the TV.

- Answer Yes it does have a web browser, however it is limited in what types of online browser videos it allows you to view (ie. you can stream off of www.ABC.com for recent television shows but not bootleg video streaming websites). It does have several apps, but half of them are not worthwhile.

Questionhearing impaired and tvHusband uses headphones connected to the audio out on tv but sound is then cutoff to me who is not hearing impaired. Is there a way to connect his headphones and allow me to hear tv at a normal volumn?

- Answer I had the same problem. Go to the home screen of the TV. Then chose 'settings'. The is the icon that looks like a suitcase in the top header. Third from the right. Chose sound from the menu. Make sure that 'headphone/audio out' is set to headphone. Then go to 'headphone speaker link' and set that to speakers on. That should have both the headphone and speakers on at the same time.

- Answer No, it is a 2014 model, but Sony is still selling this in their current line-up. It actually has slightly better reviews than the model that replaced it as the graphics engine in the 2014 model may be slightly better.
