• The 48" Sony Bravia was easy to use. Literally plug and go. My wife and I are not tech savvy at all either, and this TV was exactly what we needed. I'm happy with the quality of the picture. I though the price was great for the Sony name, the fact that it's a Smart TV, and for the size. Not sure if you can beat the price on a brand name Smart TV. Love it!

• Your Mom shouldn't have any trouble setting up the TV. You can help her set up here wi-fi connection. All the other features are easy to use. It's a good smartTV

• A Sony, Samsung or LG Smart TV. When you periodically come over you can teach her a new app for her television. They all turn on and off but others have great features they will need in the future.
