This design fills your room with sound, not just directs it forward. So, yes, it's highly likely your neighbor will hear the sound, especially at higher volumes. Sound waves travel through walls, and the system's design to create an expansive sound field (with sound bouncing off ceilings and walls) increases the likelihood of sound transference to adjacent units.
