These speakers are designed to work together to unlock the full potential of Sony's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology, which creates an expansive, cinematic surround sound experience by simulating up to 11 phantom speakers around you. For the subwoofer, the BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 is officially compatible with the SA-SW3 and the SA-SW5 wireless subwoofers.
