  • Questionwhere can I find the floor stands for these speakers?

    Asked by Speakers.

    • Answer Hi there, Thanks for sending your question. We're happy to assist you with this today! If you’re looking for floor stands for the SA-RS8 speakers, Sony doesn’t currently offer official floor stands made specifically for this model. The speakers are designed to be placed on a shelf or mounted on the wall, but if you’d prefer to use floor stands, you can check out third-party options. Just make sure the stands are compatible with the size and mounting style of the SA-RS8. We sincerely appreciate you considering a Sony product! Best regards, Estefany

  • QuestionHello how high up on the wall can they go behind you I sit close to the wall and did not want them directly behind my head can I raise them at least 5 feet above me.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there, While the BRAVIA Theater Rear 8 speakers are highly flexible, we do not recommend mounting them 5 feet above your head. For the best and most accurate surround sound effect, it is generally recommended to place rear speakers at or slightly above ear level when you are seated. Mounting them too high can cause the sound to feel unnatural and disconnected from the main listening area. Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab

  • Questiondo these speakers come with wall mount kit?

    Asked by Mark.

    • Answer Hi there, Thanks for reaching out about the SA-RS8 speakers! We can certainly assist you with that. The screws or any complex wall mount kit are not included in the box. You'll get the speakers and the power cords, but you'll need to supply your own screws for the keyhole mount or a separate articulating bracket if you want them to extend out from the wall. • QuestionSo these speakers can still be powered via a power cord correct? They can also be used wireless via the built-in battery to my knowledge? Please use definitive verbage for each question.. thanks

    Asked by Smhunter1983.

    • Answer Hi Smhunter1983, These are great pre-sales questions about the flexibility of the BRAVIA Theater Rear 8 wireless rear speakers. Powering: The speakers are required to be powered via the included AC power cord. They must be plugged into a wall outlet to function. Wireless Use: The speakers do not have a built-in battery. The term "wireless" refers only to the transmission of the audio signal from the compatible soundbar or TV. If you are looking for Sony rear speakers with built-in batteries for true, temporary cord-free placement, please check out the Sony SA-RS5 model, as those are specifically designed with this feature. Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab

  • QuestionDo these work with hot-a7000 soundbar? How do they compare to the rs5 versions?

    Asked by Normal.

    • Answer Hi Basicuser, The key difference between the Rear 8 (SA-RS8) and the older SA-RS5 speakers is that the SA-RS5 model features built-in batteries and up-firing speakers. The batteries allow the RS5s to be placed anywhere temporarily without a power cable for up to 10 hours, while the up-firing drivers in the RS5s provide a dedicated channel for overhead audio (like Dolby Atmos). The Rear 8 (SA-RS8) is a powerful, high-performance option but requires continuous AC power and does not include the dedicated up-firing driver. Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab

  • QuestionWill Model HTS60 work with SARS8 Speakers.

    Asked by TedMeierSummary.

    • Answer Hi DeadlyTedly, we appreciate your question. We're happy to clarify that information for you! The Sony Model HT-S60 is not compatible with the SA-RS8 speakers. The HT-S60 is an all-in-one 5.1 channel system that includes its own dedicated rear speakers in the box and is not designed to be expanded with optional add-ons. If you’re looking for a system that lets you add optional wireless speakers, you might want to check out Sony’s Theatre Bar 8 or Bar 9 models, which are designed to be expanded with additional wireless speakers and subwoofers. Asked by Chris.

    • Answer HI Chris, The BRAVIA Theater Rear 8 speakers (SA-RS8) are not compatible with your older HT-3000 soundbar. For your current SA-RS volume issue, please try raising the individual rear speaker levels using the Rear speaker volume +/- button on your HT-3000 remote or navigating to the Speaker Settings then Level menu; if the volume remains too low after adjustment, please contact Sony Product Support at https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US.
