It could be an issue with the sub, it could possibly cut out to a power issue to not blow the sub or leave the power save option on the back of the sub to off.

The SA-CS9 115W 10” Active Subwoofer features an auto power on/off function. If there is no signal input for a few minutes, the POWER indicator lights up in red and the subwoofer enters power-saving mode. And while in this mode a signal is input to the subwoofer, the subwoofer automatically turns on. Additionally, if you turn down the volume level of the receiver too low, the auto power on/off function may activate, causing the subwoofer to enter power saving mode. If you haven't tried yet, please try turning off this feature by sliding the POWER SAVE switch on the rear panel of the subwoofer to OFF and see if it resolves the problem.
