This is intended for a build. It's not a replacement for theater in a box setups. I have a sony bookshelf system, with a sub, for example, and this would NOT replace the bookshelf sub. Why ? because my bookshelf system doesn't have left and right speakers connections with separate + and -, nor does it have a single rca sub out connector. Theater in a box usually don't either. Why don't you just buy a replacement driver and rebuild your sub ? Just a suggestion ...
