Hi Mitch, Thank you for choosing our SACS9 Active Subwoofer. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the subwoofer having no sound. For this, please check that this subwoofer and components are connected correctly and securely. Turn LEVEL clockwise to turn the volume up. Reset the level. You may also check and run Auto Calibration on the STRDH590 or select the correct speaker pattern. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Two possibilities: There is a volume control on the back of the subwoofer which might be turned down The receiver may not be set to the right option in which case it might not be sending the audio to the speaker
