The speaker and cabinet are. Unhook the speaker from the amp, and run a line from an outside amp to the speaker. Has spectacular sound!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an Sa442sa speaker and box only. I had to refoam the speaker i used the foam from a dead 10 inch speaker, so it had to be cut into small pieces, but it is much stronger this way . I unhooked everything from the speaker its self and ran the wire from another amp, a car amp on a power supply, but any amp output will work, directly to the speaker still in its cabinet. It is the sweetest bass i have ever heard. This thing rumbles. It produces spectacular sound. Be careful how watts you put into it. Start with the amp output turned low and go up slowly.

However, if it has a special jack for a subwoofer (like a MONO OUT jack, MIX OUT jack, SUBWOOFER jack, or SUPER WOOFER jack) and support a speaker impedance of 6 ohms, yes, you can use this subwoofer as a replacement for your active super woofer. You can connect the LINE IN jack of the subwoofer to one of those jacks using the supplied audio connecting cord. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4533/45336601M.pdf If this does not help, please email us at [email protected] with the following details so we can better assist you.
