I'm not sure if that receiver has a distance setting for the sub, but if it does then set the distance farther away than it really is and it will make it louder. Also check all the other settings if you used auto calibrate to set it up. It doesn't do the sub justice. I run my volume on the sub itself at 3/4 and the crossover at around 120hz. Th settings on my STR-DN1080 are as follows- speaker level sub +6, distance 3 feet over the actual distance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to play with the sound field and levels with the remote control i max out all the subwoofer related settings and use the knob in the back to control the sub. Its powerful house shaking.
