“I want to connect this subwoofer to my yamaha R-S202 receiver. I currently just have sony ss-cs5 bookshelf speakers connected. What's the best connection recommended for best output from this subwoofer?”

• A sub woofer is for the lower frequency sound signals normally up to 100 HZ. Normally the amp will have a dedicated RCA jack output to the sub woofer. The recommend connection for the Sony SACS9 subwoofer is the RCA jack. If there are no RCA jack subwoofer from your amp, then speaker jacks can be used.

• Line out on Yamaha , to sub in on sacs9 , use a " Y" rca connector to go from 2 lines to 1 then use the adjustable Crossover on the sub to dial in the bass
