• Hi Warpigs, thank you for your question. You must connect these speakers to the speaker output terminals of an amplifier using the speaker cords (not supplied). Make sure power to all components (included the subwoofer) is turned off before starting the hookup. This unit has a rated impedance of 6 ohms. Please check the specifications of your AV receiver if it matches the speakers. Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofers with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. ~Earl
