“I purchased these with the tower speakers, center and dolby atmos . Hooked them up to the sony dh790. Would the next receiver up from this one be that big of a difference? I don't plan on running two zones or adding anymore speakers .”

Hi Corr, thank you for purchasing our product. There's not much of a difference. Newer models only have added features and functions. If you don't plan running two zones or add speakers, the 790 is already perfect.
