Yes and probably yes. The speaker posts have pretty generous holes for the wires. While i don't remember the exact diameter of monster cables, I'd be surprised if they didn’t. On the back of your Kenwood, where the speakers hook up, it should say the minimum ohm impedance. If it's 4 or 6, you're good. If it's 8, you could still use these speakers but not at really loud levels without risking damage to your Kenwood.

You need to check this specifications of your receiver if it match with this speaker. Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended.
