Hello, You may find this information helpful in matching speakers to a receiver. The SSCS5 has a rated impedance of 6 ohms with a maximum input power of 100W. Matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. Thank you! - Romeo
