“I have a vintage Kenwood component stereo system. Bought in about 1983. Unfortunately the speakers are blown. Connected to stereo with wire. Are these speakers compatible to use as replacements?”

These should work with any analog signal input. Just make sure you don't try to play them too loud. Hook up the receiver/amp output wires to the back of the speakers (black to black and red to red)

Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. ~Earl
