A:AnswerHi Warpigs, thank you for your question. You must connect these speakers to the speaker output terminals of an amplifier using the speaker cords (not supplied). Make sure power to all components (included the subwoofer) is turned off before starting the hookup. This unit has a rated impedance of 6 ohms. Please check the specifications of your AV receiver if it matches the speakers. Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofers with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended. ~Earl
A:AnswerThere is no provision on the back for a wall mounting, additionally the speakers are we are rear ported, so should be kept at least 6 inches away from the wall
A:AnswerI use these as rears, but there are others who use these as both fronts and rears, as long as they have a good subwoofer. I have them connected to an STR-DN1080 AVR, which I think is what you were referencing. They'll work fine.
A:AnswerI have used velcro for issues like this in the past. Works really well. They sell small velcro squares. One in each corner and one in the middle. They're not going anywhere unless the stand gets knocked over. Even then it'll probably still be stuck to the stand.
A:AnswerThe connector on the back is for a red & black wire that is locked in place by a nut. What kind of connector is on the Studebaker is it an RCA or a twister wire clip?
