Panasonic Lumix is what I like to carry around. It's light and great sharp photos. So easy to use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used both RX100 and Sony A5000 Both great cameras. Sony A5000 will give you better image quality with more features. it also has power zoom option - you can hold and zoom with one hand. NFC, Wi-Fi for image transfer also available on A5000. Size different but RX100 not too small to easy keep it on the pocket, but heavy enough to drop it due to polished body. Sony A5000 very easy to handle due to nice body style and not too big size and weight. I do not like carrying extra lens around but power zoom will give you enough with included 16-50mm lens on sony a5000 or sony a5100

The 16-50 kit lens will probably suffice but if you throw a Zeiss lens on there, it will step up your photo quality. With rumors of the a6100 being released in the near future, you can find some good deals on the current model. I purchased an open-box with kit lens for $479 a few weeks ago. It's my second. Good luck choosing!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, It would be a nice choice to get a mirrorless camera like the A5100 or A6000. Benefits of getting the A6000 over the A5100 is that the A6000 has an Electronic View Finder which is very helpful when shooting in direct sunlight where the lcd is hard to look at. Another advantage is that A6000 has a dedicated hotshoe so you can expand your photography and attach diff accessories.Compared to RX100, this unit has interchangeable lens capability and image quality is far superior. -Zander
