when attached to PC via USB ALL CONTROL IS THROUGH PC...Would probably want to purchase specialized sound control / edit software for enhanced manipulation control. Will see recorder as a USB device to access, select copy, move, delete files. Would suggest copy files to PC for further manipulation (edit,...) Can delete files from recorder via PC...much faster to copy all then delete select files via PC

If you are using Windows Media Player or Sound Organizer software it will display the seconds/minutes as well as a bar that you can easily move to navigate (rewind/fast forward). -Anthony
