“Regarding Sony ICDPX 312 :reformat disk? My device tells me that it is full (no more memory) I have no Micro card to use so I'm in a jam. After deleting all files (5) from the device. Info reveals only 164KB available from 1.99GB capacity. Then, using my MAC (in iTunes), I again erased all files. Same info. appears. No matter what I try, the device will not record for longer than about 20 seconds (and only from one file). To clear the SONY main disk, should I (or can I?) re-format from MAC in MS-DOS (FAT 16) in my MAC's disk utility app? Thank you.”
