• Yes, as long as the USB port is charging capable. Most modern computers have at least one.

• I used it on my usb extension (7) port which was connected to computer by usb so it works.

• You would need an adapter if you wanted to use the controller wirelessly. Otherwise, if you are using Steam to play your games, you should be able to just connect it via usb.

• I bought this to use with a USB Bluetooth adapter, it didn't fully function. Instead I had to go out and get a really long USB cable. Works wonderfully.
