“I have had two controllers (basic models) give out in the left analog stick from sprinting in Call of Duty. My question is that 1. Will the analog sticks be more durable? If not what can I do to prevent that 2. Is this model bigger and shaped different?”

I believe it is hit and miss with controllers. Play with it as soon as you purchase because usually if it had a defect, you could feel it within 5 days. Return it once you determine it is defective.

Please try again later.It has been confirmed and in my opinion aswell, they have used better and more durable materials for the analog sticks and supposedly the controller will last longer in general. The model is not bigger or shaped differently at all. Same thing, just slightly better build quality. The touchpad also has abut of light coming through the top aswell which also gives it a nice look

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found the sticks to be more durable, but I'm not sure to what degree. I've definitely noticed a difference though, as the rubber doesn't rub off as easily in general. I have however, started using GRIP-IT thumbstick covers (which I can't find on Best Buy's website) for them to remain durable (because controllers are expensive and grips are not). So I would recommend both products.
