• I am not 100% sure on this. But it's like Sony (and other console manufacturers) weren't expecting the massive demand for console accessories that the covid-19 pandemic created. With people quarantining and kids driving parents crazy, they were all bought up quickly. I heard from a guy at Best Buy that Sony had already switched over to production of the ps5 and ps5 accessories and had enough ps4 accessories stock to last into next year... until coronavirus happened. So i'm not sure if they're going to start manufacturing more (unlikely) or just let the 3rd party companies get their chance in the spotlight.
