• yes. the controllers are bluetooth. Just google how to sync a new controller to your console and you'll be all set. Chances are you just need to plug the usb into the console, connect the controller and turn both on. That should pair them

• Yes it will. You simply have to connect it to your PS4 using the USB cable it came with to sync to your PS4 for the first time.

• Yes, it will work. If your controller gets lost or broken, you can always buy a new dualshock controller for you PS4 and that will sync with yours. You only need to to connect it via USB cable once and you will be good.
