QuestionWhy I can't get my DVD player to play? Some of the colorized wires don't match for back of the TV and the DVD player. What to do when one set of colors do not match the color wires in the back of the TV or DVD player? The remote, does not help also.

- Answer It should play an MP3 (a CD) that you have burned, as long as you told the burner to burn for CD/DVD players (not just for computer drive).

QuestionI just need a DVD player for audio CD's. Is there a difference in sound quality with more expensive models, or does that depend more on what you are plugging the DVD player into (such as the amplifier and/or speakers)?

- Answer Well, this dvd player is a no frills version. It has RCA output and an Optical Audio Out as well. I cannot answer for the sound quality because I bought it to use in a cottage that only had the built in tv speakers but I can say that if you're looking for an HDMI output, this is NOT a good choice for you. It does NOT have an HDMI out jack. There are RCA cablees included though.
