I have a Sony dvd player with RCA connectors. I was experiencing quite a bit of humming and buzzing. I discovered the player had two red colored connectors on the back of the player. While the player was playing a dvd, I unplugged the red connector and plugged it in the 2nd connector at the back of the player. The busing and humming stopped and the player is now very quiet.
