why won't the dvd player work? I just bought the sony dvd player. I have a funai tv. I have hooked the dvd player up and the light turns on but there is no picture on the tv...what am I doing wrong?

make sure that you change input on TV to select the correct source (DVD).

Is the DVD player compatible with the TV? Did you make sure all wires were connected correctly?
