Does the TV need to be hooked up to cable in order to use the DVD player? I'd like to watch DVDs on an extra TV that isn't hooked up to cable. Is that possible?

It is not required to connect a coaxial cable for watching pictures from the DVD player on the TV. You can connect the DVD Player (DVPSR210P) to the TV using either Component (Red, Blue, Green, Red and White) or Composite connection (Yellow, Red and White).

No. Ours isn't hooked up to cable. We have it hooked up to a video projector only.
